Problem
Engineering, pharma and energy firms in Europe sit on decades of technical documents in a dozen languages: maintenance manuals, safety cases, regulatory filings, German specifications with French annexes. General-purpose models hosted abroad are often ruled out by their data policies, and they misread tables, units and clause cross-references, which is exactly where errors are costly.
Solution
Moraine trains its own model family, from 8B to 120B parameters, on licensed technical and regulatory text in 26 European languages, with long context for documents over 1,000 pages. Customers run the weights on their own GPUs or in a sovereign cloud region, fine-tune on their archives, and get answers that cite the page, table and clause they came from.
Target market
Large European industrial, life-sciences and public-sector organisations with strict data residency rules; spending on private model deployments in this segment is estimated at US$6B a year by 2028.
Business model
Annual licence per deployment, priced by model size and GPU count, typically US$250K–1.5M a year, plus paid fine-tuning projects and premium support.
